In the Studio

Big Gig recently finished mixing The Hat Madders new six-song EP.  Man this is rockin' (reminiscent of Nirvana's Bleach album with a little Leppard)!  We mixed it at our New Haven CT location on an old Soundcraft series 600 console, with tons of outboard gear like CBS volumax limiters and Gates compressors and hot-rodded strips (bb) in the console contributed to its massive sound.  The EP will be out in the next month and you can buy it at our music store.  Check them out at:  http://thehatmadder.com

Big Gig finished mixing Narc Out THe Reds New Cd.  The band is in place and ready to tear it up.  Chris Baratono (lead singer, guitarist) will be heading out to New Haven in May to mix at the East Coast location.  Scott Bozack, of Big Gig, played drums on the songs and will be co- producing it with Baratono.  We will have it for sale at the store as soon as it is finished!  http://myspace.com/narcoutthereds

Big Gig Will be producing The debut cd from Lazlow this Winter.  This is a really cool band  from the Denver CO area with a very slimmed down production value.  Acoustic guitar driven and fueled with an awesome voice, Lazlow will win you over.  We will keep you posted as we make progress.

The Hawks and Snakes new album Unweakend Weekend Wolves and their previous release Tame Out The Spell.  Both are great records for the summer.   Preview a cut and you will snap them up! 

Tyler Blakslee's former band, Biddy Biddy Biddy has re-released their masterpiece Logic Makes Us Look Good on our site as well. We are stoked they decided to make it available.
