Studio Recording

Big Gig Productions is an independent contracting recording company providing mobile and in-house recording. All gear is able to travel to you or you can come to us!

Big Gig Productions is housed at The Cavern recording studios in Tucson Arizona and Thin Black Line Studios in Mid-Michigan. All projects are portable between both studios.

All recording systems are Macintosh and Windows based. We use Digital Performer 4 as the main recording platform using RME high end interfaces. Other recording platforms used by Big Gig are: Samplitude, Logic, Bias Peak and Pro Tools. Grace, Amek, Langevin, Neuman, Akg, Urei and Old School Audio are a few of our high-end selections of gear to achieve your sound goals. Along with high quality digital recording platforms we offer ADAT recording, 2” tape recording and analog mixing through a 48 channel Otari Elite Plus Mixing Console.

Studio Background and Credits

Big Gig Productions was founded in 1999 by head engineer Scott Bozack. Big Gig is Dedicated to creating and producing the highest quality recordings. Credits include: Biddy Biddy Biddy (Atarms Recording Artists), 8-Ball Grifter (Skully Records), Eminem – for MTV Jammed, Brendan Benson (V2 –Startime), Powerface (Four Seven Media), Five Fifty (Exhaust Records) 19 Wheels (Standard), Sex and Patriatism, Johnny’s Little Rocketship, Rydell, Neato, The Hat Madder, Bradford, Narc Out The Reds, Ashton Moore, Bit, and many more.
